Professions in the field of Learning Sciences and Technologies (in Dutch)

Jobs in the Learning sciences are found in exciting and dynamic fields. Modern society has an enormous demand for effective, attractive and efficient learning environments in schools, at the work place, at home and on the move.

Students in the Learning Sciences have a unique combination of theoretical knowledge, research skills, design and innovation experiences, which prepare them for a wide variety of occupations.

Many experts in the learning sciences will be pioneers in new areas using the theoretical insights in brain and cognition research and combining this with new media technologies to construct challenging environments to enhance learning and knowledge handling.

Those who earn a masters degree in Learning Sciences can obtain employment in schools, software companies, consulting firms and financial institutes. Some are continuing to earn a PhD, which gives them entry to jobs at universities, government agencies and as a researcher in private sectors.
