1. APA Style
The APA Style is often used to format publications in scientific journals in the field of Psychology and Learning Sciences. In other scientific areas, like Computer Science, the standards are less clear and can vary from journal to journal.
Each researcher working in a field that uses the APA style should:
- Get a copy of the APA 6 manual (and read it, especially the first chapters; rest is for reference). Contact Paul Kirschner if you need one.
- Take care that you have the correct templates for formating APA journal style publications (template.dot)
- Take care that you use a tool like Mendeley (or Endnote or reference manager or to a lesser extend Zotero) that will help you with the management of literature references in the publications.
