The CELSTEC topic team for Learning Analytics is preparing for the international conference in Learning and Knowledge Analytics (LAK12). This is the second annual conference of its kind. It will take place in Vancouver, Canada from 29 April - 2 May 2012. More details and the programme of the conference can be found here.

Several researchers from OUNl will present their work at the conference. We also co-organise a workshop on Learning Analytics and Linked Data (LALD12). Submissions are still possible, so please send them in asap, the Call for Papers can be found here.

Among the papers, we will present a recent survey among learning analytics experts about their expectations of this new domain. My colleague Hendrik Drachsler will cover some findings in other blog posts in this blog, so stay tuned for this.
